This past summer, I was given the incredible opportunity to work as a summer Creative, or should I say "Mer person," with Google Creative Lab in NYC. It was an opportunity that completely changed my life, as I was able to figure out what kind of work I love doing and was surrounded by/learned from the most innovative people in the industry.

While I can't publicly share a lot of information, I can say that creative Lab was unlike any place I've ever worked. I was able to learn about Google's OKRs and how to design around them, participated in a number of design sprints, learned how to tell more cohesive stories through product pitches, and was able to observe and adopt to how unconventional the design process is within Creative Lab.

Not only did I work directly on various Google products, but I was able to work on products that would help shape the future of tech... This is when I realized I enjoy that level of innovation more than anything I've ever done– I did everything from UI/UX, animation, visual design, and 3D design.

I can talk for hours about how much I loved my summer, but if you want to hear more about my experience, just ask!
